Lemon Basil Green Beans

A tasty combination!

500 g green beans, trimmed
1 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook green beans until barely tender. Drain into a colander and rinse with cold water.

Return pot to medium heat and add butter. Once butter is melted add green beans, lemon rind, salt and pepper, stir to coat. Remove from heat. Toss with basil and serve.
